Ermənistanda ötən gün işə düşən Bakı-Tiflis-Qars dəmir yolu layihəsi ilə bağlı əməlli-başlı pərtlik müşahidə olunur. Rəsmi İrəvan hökumət və ya XİN səviyyəsində hələlik bu tarixi hadisəyə münasibət bildirməyib. Bununla belə erməni ekspert çevrələrində bu, əsas müzakirə mövzusudur. Ermənistan siyasətçiləri və ekspertləri bildirirlər ki, Azərbaycan bu layihəyə 700 milyon dolları ancaq bir məqsədlə xərləyib-Ermənistanın nəqliyyat blokadasını daha da gücləndirmək.

Digər tərəfdən Ermənistanda bu nəqliyyat dəhlizinə qoşulmaq imkanlarını da nəzərdən keçirirlər və hətta buna ümidlər də var. Ermənistan parlamentinin vitse-spikeri, “Firəvan Ermənistan” partiyasından deputat və iqtisadiyyat professoru Mikael Melkumyan news.am-a bildirib ki, Bakı-Tiflis-Qars dəmir yolu əvvəldən siyasi əhəmiyyətə malik idi. Lakin onun mövqeyinə görə indi vəziyyət bir az dəyişib-layihə həm siyasi, həm iqtisadi baxımdan əhəmiyyət qazanıb.

“Əlbətdə, bu layihənin siyasi əhəmiyyəti əvvəldən güclü idi. Lakin eyni zamanda onun iqtisadi baxımdan əhəmiyyəti də az deyil. Bu dəmir yolu gələcək Gümrü-Qars dəmir yoluna ciddi rəqabət yarada bilər ki, erməni tərəfi üçün bu məqbul deyil”-Melkumyan bildirib.

Vitse-spiker etiraf edir ki, Bakı-Tiflis-Qars dəmir yolunun açılmasından sonra Gümrü-Qars dəmir yolu əhəmiyyətini itirmiş olur. Melkumyana görə bu layihədə balanslı yanaşma və biznesin cəlb edilməsi üçün ondan iqtisadi imkanlar baxımından istifadə zəruridir.

Erməni tərəfinin layihəyə qoşulması imkanları haqda suala cavab verən Melkumyan bildirib ki, bu tamamilə mümkündür. Çünki Bakı-Tiflis-Qars dəmir yolu nə Türkiyə, nə Gürcüstan, nə Azərbaycan tərəfdən milliləşdirilməyib.
